The Elite MMA shorts are the first ever Fight Shorts I bought. I liked them so much that I bought 2 of them. One in grey and one in black.
I bought many MMA shorts throughout the years, and I have been wearing both of them for a long time and know them in and out.
So I know what they are about and how they are compared to other shorts.
My goal is to give you an honest Guide on their pros and cons. At the end of this post, you’ll know whether it’s worth buying one.
The Elite MMA Shorts Review
In the following, I’ll go into detail about all the different aspects of the Elite MMA Shorts. After that, you’ll know whether you wanna buy this one.
Quality
The material of these Fight Shorts is thicker than the other ones I have. The material is also stretchy, so you won’t feel limited in your movements.
I washed these Shorts more than I count, and they are still holding up. They are durable and reliable, and you’ll be able to wear them for a long time.
They are unlikely to rip and fall apart.
Design
The design is plain and simple. You can only find them in gray and black – but I like that. It’s not flashy, straight to the point, and I like how it looks when I’m wearing them.
But, of course, they don’t stick out. If you’re into more flashy designs, then you should go for other ones.
Fit
Due to the waistband, the fit is amazing. You can tighten it up to make sure it doesn’t slip around in practice.
I bought my grey Elite MMA shorts in Medium and my black Elite MMA shorts in Large. I find that the Large is slightly too big and the Medium one slightly too tight.
I can still wear them because they are so stretchy. So it doesn’t hinder my movement. But the large ones are too baggy, so they tend to move up while grappling.
That means my underwear gets exposed too often, so I decided to wear spats under them whenever I wore them.
So I’d recommend you not to size up. If in doubt about your size, size down.
Comfort
They are comfortable. Even though they have thick material, they feel light. You’ll be able to move freely within them.
They are a bit above your knee – I think that’s the perfect fit for grappling.
Price
It’s hard to compete with the pricing. They manage to create a high-quality product for little money. The Elite MMA Fight Shorts are reliable, durable, and long-lasting.
If you are on a budget, these Grappling Shorts are definitely ones to go for.
Final Words
I’m happy with my Elite MMA shorts. I have been wearing them for a while, and even though they are not perfect, they are undeniable within that price category.
Within that price range, they are the best Fight shorts out there. So, if you are on a budget and you are not into flashy designs, I’d highly recommend buying the Elite MMA Fight shorts.
